The first part is to remove the D&D universe by changing Col's second childhood home from Aber Toril to my fantasy world of Dracona. He still grows up a paladin here and Kassandra would make a perfect sorceress supreme there as well.
To remove Castlevania from the equation, Col's trip to earth will not involve a battle with Dracula. Instead he will find the population of Anthros, monsters and others that normal society either hunts or does not accept. He will then create the kingdom of Neo Dracona in a secluded valley somewhere in Europe as a sanctuary for them.
And finally to remove the Yugioh factor I will change the origins of the dragon souls that inhabit the bodies of the current four Dragonknights. The spirits will now be the four parts of the original Dragonknight that made him a being of balance.
Col's will be the Dark Dragon soul which pretty much means he'll have all the dark powers, this will allow him to keep some of the powers I have him use already but will remove things like his demon form and his overpowered regeneration factor, which in the end is a good thing.
Alana will have the Red Dragon soul, representing Strength. Once again fitting her overall powerset from before.
Rachidna Nightmoon from
Krystal will have the Light Dragon soul (self explanatory), and will be one of the only few characters from actual games that I will actually keep in the storyline.
I will still call Col's team the Black Roses, but only cause the name sounds cool. the black rose itself will simply be a plant native to Dracona that Col brought with him to earth. It will have a unique scent and remarkable healing properties when made into potions or salves.
So that's the changes that I will be making after the end of Light Bringer.
